... To Mumbai anyway.
Our flight to Newark was delayed by 1/2 hour and thought we wouldn't make it to catch our flight to Mumbai but the universe was shining on us! Lonnnnng flight! 15 hours +. We arrived in Mumbai on time but it took 40 mins to get our bags. We did not know we had to transfer to a different airport to catch our domestic flight and it was already boarding. We got to the airport and although the flight was still here they wouldn't let us board. Waiting from 10:30 pm in the airport to catch our new flight to Goa at 1:10 pm tomorrow afternoon annnnd had to pay transfer fees. Apparently flights to Goa are quite popular.
On an interesting note the airport in Mumbai had amazing and very unique artwork and structures. I will post a photo of an electronically rotating post made out of bottle caps tomorrow.
Until then all ... For now its love and light from Mumbai.
But first a poem read by one of my fave yoga instructors at Moksha which resonates with me and speaks to this moment perfectly. It signifies accepting what you feel in every moment regardless of what it brings up for you rather than repressing it or pushing it away because it will just create internal tension. In this way you can recognize your emotion and accept it and then let it pass by like a cloud.
Self-Acceptance
by Danna Faulds
In the midst of difficulty,
my curiosity is piqued
and I aim the lance
of self-inquiry into the
center of my deepest fears.
I give myself permission
to feel exactly what I feel,
to be just as I am, and in
that self-acceptance I find
energy, awareness, and a
thousand gifts I never
guessed were with me
